Job Description:

Summary:

Under the direction of the Industry Relations Manager, this position is responsible for the coordination of key aspects of business development with industry partners. The incumbent provides support for various administrative activities of the department by coordinating the logistics, schedules, and workflow of the department and new initiatives that support the growth and development of strategic partnerships.

The Industry Relations Coordinator will engage in sales, outreach efforts and client services for existing clients and new business opportunities to support the activities of the AANA.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Identify and solicit targeted markets and potential clients which will include: inbound/outbound calling activity and overseeing mailing/emailing correspondence

  • Manage and maintain accurate industry contact list via our CRM database and remain accountable for timely and accurate status reports

  • Coordinate and support the fulfillment of meeting and program deliverables, including implementation, execution, onsite management and posting meeting/program reports and communication.

  • Assist the Industry Relations Manager with the collection of partnership profiles and products along with providing data to the Marketing and Communications department for inclusion in association materials.

  • Coordinate and updates new partnership information on AANA’s website/apps.

  • Provide administrative assistance to the Industry Relations Manager to include calendar scheduling, meeting preparation, documents management and some research projects.
  • Assist with exhibit booth coordination including logistical planning, organization and execution. Orders materials and coordinates shipping.
  • Assist with annual meeting marketing material preparation, including printing, preparing and organizing shipment of materials, and other activities.
  • Maintain department invoices and files.

  • Must have ability to self-start, self-direct and prioritize workload.

  • Detail oriented, with strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Possess excellent writing, public speaking, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Demonstrate familiarity and/or direct experience in a marketing development environment that has included ongoing interaction with leadership and partners.

  • Experience with online prospecting resources, web-based research skills, and knowledge of Salesforce CRM software.
  • Applicant should have a high level of expertise in Windows-based applications such as Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required in business, marketing or communications
  • At least 1-3 years related work experience in account management, sales or related field
